Nov. 13, 2025 — Publix Super Markets presented Director of Manufacturing Operations Brandon Haley with the 2025 President’s Award at the company’s annual retail operations conference in central Florida.

Brandon is a successful leader who is focused on having the right associates in the right places. He also concentrates his time and efforts on helping his associates grow their skills through training and encouraging them along the way.

“Our company’s vision is so important, but even more important is the strategy to support that vision,” said Brandon. “I enjoy coming to work every day, motivating my teams, helping them through the challenging times and celebrating their successes.”

Brandon shared that receiving this award not only acknowledges him as a leader, but all of those leaders and peers along the way who have helped him grow. He’s also excited to see those around him achieving great things.

“I’m honored to be surrounded with peers and mentors that challenge me to be the best version of myself each and every day,” said Brandon. “But as a leader, it’s also important to remind your associates that the value they bring to the team is critical to our success and growth as a company.”

About the honoree

Brandon began working for Publix in 2009 as an assistant department manager of production in the deli kitchen. He held various positions in manufacturing operations before becoming the director of manufacturing operations for the fresh kitchen. In his current role, he is the director of manufacturing operations for dairy.

About the President’s Award

The President’s Award is one of the company’s most prestigious awards. It honors one district manager from each of the company’s five divisions and one support leader who actively perpetuate a culture of inclusion, foster a sense of belonging, and champion the development and advancement of all associates. In addition, the recipients must be role models to others by demonstrating exemplary leadership.

Brandon joins Atlanta Division District Manager Jeff Jeup, Charlotte Division District Manager Mike Jelenc, Jacksonville Division District Manager Kelly Wilson, Lakeland Division District Manager Steve Micheli and Miami Division District Manager Charlie Uz as this year’s President’s Award recipients.
