Retail Facilities Design
Facilities Design provides in-house architectural and engineering services and manages external design consultants. This department is responsible for developing retail store designs for new stores and remodels as well as serving as design consultants on corporate retail maintenance issues. Facilities Design also develops site design criteria for Publix shopping center standards and ensures that shopping center developers meet those standards.
Retail Construction
The Construction department is a dedicated in-house team focused on overseeing new store and shopping center construction, as well as existing store remodels across Publix’s entire area of operations. From our Construction Managers to our Construction and Electrical Supervisors, Setup Coordinators, and Administrative Support team, we expertly manage our projects from contract award through completion and turnover. We also have occasional opportunities to add construction contractors to our approved list of bidders.
Industrial Construction
The Industrial Construction department is a dedicated in-house team focused on overseeing design and construction projects for our manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and/or office buildings. They work with our Manufacturing/Supply Purchasing department to procure industrial design and construction service providers for our industrial construction projects.
