The Real Estate Department is committed to providing and maintaining the most strategic locations throughout Publix's operating area. We accomplish this by managing several key real estate functions, including site selection, site development, leasing, property management, real estate acquisitions and disposition of excess property.
Real Estate Strategy
The Strategy Team is responsible for developing and implementing Publix's real estate strategy in the markets it serves, identifying new Publix locations and ensuring that existing facilities are remodeled and upgraded in accordance with our premier standards.
Real Estate Leasing
The Leasing Team is responsible for overseeing the leasing for Publix-controlled shopping centers. The team works diligently to create the optimum balance of local, regional, and national tenants for each shopping center.
Property Mgmt - Real Estate Assets
The Property Mgmt Team is responsible for overseeing Publix's Real Estate Portfolio. This includes property management for company-controlled centers.
Real Estate Operations
The Operations Team is dedicated to ensuring Publix's existing leased locations are maintained at the highest level. The team works with landlords, as well as our Facilities Department, to ensure our locations are in excellent condition.
