Dec. 14, 2022 — Publix Super Markets recognized Lakeland Division District Manager Julian Agollari with the 2022 President’s Award at the company’s retail operations conference.

A native of Albania, Agollari leads by example, mentors with passion and gives credit where due. He maintains a balance between expectations and education. He sets the standards that keep his management team informed and working toward the same goals.

Agollari’s leadership skills speak to his enthusiasm and commitment to Publix’s standards and associate development. He is well-respected by his peers and leadership team, and takes a genuine interest in the well-being of associates across his region, division and Publix overall.

“I always try to communicate clearly and be an inspiration for my team and fellow associates,” Agollari said. “Our main objective is to continue to make the company a great place to work and shop.”

Agollari supports the company’s foundational strategies to hire, train, promote and retain associates. His passion for Publix, along with his genuine care for and commitment to his team, is evident in his district. His unique life experiences, combined with his dedication to learning and growth, distinguish him as a leader. Agollari has an eagerness to explore all aspects of leadership and demonstrates compassion with accountability. He is admired by his team and he engages with them to achieve great results.

Agollari was surprised and emotional about being named this year’s Lakeland Division President’s Award recipient.

“When I first came to America, I did not have a lot of resources,” he said. “I was trying to figure out how to provide for my family. Joining Publix was the best thing ever. Diversity is not just a word but an important component of our company’s growth.”

Agollari added, he feels proud yet humbled to receive the honor.

“I will continue to support everyone who has the willingness to be a difference maker at Publix,” he said. “A leader’s main duty is to nurture the talent of tomorrow.”
