LAKELAND, Fla., Nov. 2, 2023 ­— Publix has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s greatest workplaces for veterans in 2023.

“At Publix, we are grateful for those who have served and currently serve in the U.S. armed forces,” said Publix Vice President of Human Resources Marcy Benton. “We value the contributions our associates bring to our company and are proud to be a workplace of choice for our veterans.”

In a survey conducted by Newsweek in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, employees with military backgrounds assessed companies based on company image, corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, benefits, training and diversity. Over 25,000 employees participated in the survey, making it one of the most comprehensive employee surveys in the United States.
