Committed to ending hunger — together

At Publix, our commitment to alleviating hunger comes to life each fall through Publix Serves Week, bringing associates together in support of our neighbors in need. This year, from Sept. 20 to 27, over 8,000 associates are volunteering at more than 150 nonprofit organizations in our local communities.

Publix Super Markets Charities is also donating $25 million this Hunger Action Month to support more than 350 food banks and nonprofit organizations across our footprint. A portion of the donation will help 43 Feeding America® partner food banks in Publix’s 8-state operating area to fund one-time efforts, including vehicle purchases and other capital improvements. This brings Publix Charities’ total investment to help end hunger to more than $103 million since 2015.
