The FDA is advising restaurants and food retailers not to serve or sell and consumers not to eat the recalled oysters. </p> <p>Shellfish contaminated with norovirus can cause illness if eaten, and potentially severe illness in people with compromised immune systems. Food containing norovirus may look, smell, and taste normal. Consumers of these products who are experiencing symptoms of illness should contact their healthcare provider and report their symptoms to their local Health Department. Diarrhea, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, and fever may be associated with gastroenteritis infections caused by this organism. </p> <p>Information regarding Bluepoint Oysters sold at Publix affected by this recall: </p> <p><strong>GTIN:</strong> 29803100000<br /> <strong>Product Description:</strong> Bluepoint Oysters<br /> <strong>Harvest Date:</strong> Feb 24, 2024 </p>Wed, 27 Mar 2024 12:26:26 -0400{3057A1C5-67D8-4E0C-A33D-EDBE34E2A77F}https://corporate.publix.com/newsroom/recalls/amys-kitchen-enchilada-verde-whole-mealAmy’s Kitchen Enchilada Verde Whole Meal Product Recall<p>Amy’s Kitchen has initiated a voluntary recall for three of the Enchilada Verde Whole Meal which contains a cheese sourced from Rizo-López Foods, Inc. </p> <p>This recall is based on a recall notice issued by Rizo-Lopez notifying Amy’s Kitchen of the possible presence of <em>Listeria monocytogenes</em> in the cheese used to produce the Enchilada Verde Whole Meal. <em>Listeria monocytogenes</em> is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. <em>Listeria </em>infection can cause miscarriage and stillbirths among pregnant women. </p> <p>Amy’s Kitchen is not aware of any illness complaints related to the recalled products. Out of an abundance of caution, however, Amy’s Kitchen is conducting this recall to ensure the safety of our consumers. No other Amy’s Kitchen products or lots are involved. The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has been notified of this voluntary recall. </p> <p>Please immediately destroy and dispose of the product.
