Products sold. Inventory picked. Shelves restocked. Distribution Operators are at the heart of routing products in the warehouses to the shelves in the stores. They help maintain shipping and receiving at Publix's warehouses.
How to Apply
Distribution Operators support the activities involved with Publix's warehouse shipping and receiving departments. They do this through the use of a computerized warehouse management system (WMS). The Distribution Operators electronically process product orders from Publix stores, which are used by the Warehouse Selectors to know which products to pull from our warehouse inventory. They also help our Warehouse Receivers with the receiving process, by maintaining the administrative process involved with adding the products to the inventory. The actions of keeping up with supplying products to more than 1,000 Publix stores results in fast-paced activity within the warehouses, and the Distribution Operators help keep this process accurate and in order.
Go to the Publix Jobs Center to see our current openings. Click "YES" or "NO" to the question, "Are you an active Publix associate?" Then narrow your search by choosing Distribution within the Functional Area selection box.
