You can apply for entry-level positions in your local Publix at the Job Application Center.
But there may be no openings in those positions when you apply. A store manager reviews active applications only when an opening occurs. So it's important to keep your application active every 30 days.
There are often dozens of applications for each position, so store managers first review the applications ranked highest by the system. These rankings are based on candidates' availability and other information provided on the application.
Once the manager finds one or two candidates who best match the open position's requirements, someone at the store will call the leading candidates to set up interviews. If you are called for an interview, please confirm the date, time, and location of the interview. This is important—you may be called for an interview at a store other than the one where you applied.
