Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods, LLC of Henrico Co, VA., announced it is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Country Ham On White House Rolls 2ct packages due to a potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods, LLC stated the product was made with or could have come in contact with Johnston County Hams products, which are the focus of a national recall. Johnston County Hams of Smithfield, NC, on October 3, 2018 announced a recall of 89,096 pounds of ready-to-eat deli ham products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. There have been reports of illnesses associated with the country ham supplied by Johnston County Hams, but there are no reports of illnesses associated with Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods Products. Consumers who purchased the product are encouraged to return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
